Privacy Policy

Lektera is a US-based company providing AI automation services to trades and service businesses. We act as a data controller for our own account holders and as a service provider for the customer data you provide to operate your AI systems.

• Account info: name, business name, email, phone, password (hashed).
• Billing info: handled by Stripe — we don't store full card details.
• Service config: bot names, business hours, pricing, calendar connections.
• Customer data you upload: names, contact details, appointment history.
• Usage data: logins, activity logs, error reports, basic analytics.

To deliver the services you subscribed to, send service updates, prevent fraud and abuse, improve our systems, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your data. We do not use your customers' data to train any third-party AI models.

• Performance of contract — to provide you the service you paid for.
• Legitimate interests — to secure, improve, and operate the platform.
• Consent — for optional marketing communications you can withdraw any time.
• Legal obligation — to comply with US tax, accounting, and law-enforcement orders.

We use vetted sub-processors to operate the service: Supabase (hosting & database), Stripe (billing), our SMS provider (messaging), Google (calendar / business), and similar providers. Each is bound by data-processing agreements with appropriate safeguards.

We keep account data for the life of your subscription plus 12 months. Customer messaging logs are retained for 24 months for support and dispute purposes, then automatically deleted unless legally required to keep longer.

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection with respect to your personal information. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA. Email support@lektera.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

Encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Role-based access controls. Row-level security on customer-data tables. Regular vulnerability scanning. Hashed passwords. No sensitive data in client-side state.
